What the recognition means for a graphite manufacturer—and for its customers.
In September 2026, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Baofeng County released the results of its 2025 annual assessment of enterprises for labor law compliance and integrity. Pingdingshan XRD Graphite Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was awarded a Class A rating.
The assessment is conducted under China’s Labor Security Supervision Regulations and the Measures for the Rating of Enterprises’ Labor Law Compliance and Integrity. It evaluates companies on how well they follow labor laws and regulations in areas such as labor contracts, wage payment, social insurance, working hours and leave, labor protection, and internal management systems. A Class A rating reflects a strong record of compliance and integrity over the assessment period.
For a graphite machining company, this recognition is more than a formality. Graphite components—especially custom and precision parts—rely heavily on the experience of skilled operators. The same drawing and the same equipment can produce different levels of dimensional consistency and surface quality depending on the operator’s skill. Building that skill takes time, and retaining it requires a stable workforce. When staff turnover is high, process knowledge is hard to accumulate, and product consistency can suffer.
XRD Graphite has therefore made labor compliance a part of its daily operations. The company signs labor contracts with employees in accordance with the law, pays wages on time and in full, participates in social insurance programs, and follows statutory working hours and leave policies. In the workshop, where graphite machining generates dust and noise, protective equipment is provided, and safety training is conducted. Internal labor management rules are in place, and records are kept so that issues can be handled through established procedures.
These practices are not unusual, but maintaining them consistently over years is where the challenge lies. The Class A rating is based on day-to-day performance, not a one-time inspection.
For customers and partners, a supplier’s labor practices can be a useful reference. A stable workforce supports stable delivery and consistent quality, which matters particularly for batch orders. Compliance also suggests a well-managed operation, reducing cooperation risks. And a company that invests in lawful practices is often more focused on long-term relationships.
That said, this rating is only one dimension. When choosing a supplier, what ultimately matters is whether the drawings can be produced, whether precision is reliable, whether delivery is on time, and whether the price is reasonable.
About XRD Graphite
Pingdingshan XRD Graphite Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located in Baofeng County, Pingdingshan, Henan Province. With 30 years of experience in graphite production, the company specializes in custom graphite products, including graphite molds, crucibles, vacuum furnace hot-zone components, and various custom-shaped graphite parts. We machine to customer drawings with strict dimensional tolerances, and our products are designed for relatively long service life under normal use. The company has isostatic and molded graphite production capacity and batch machining lines, supporting custom orders from drawings, samples, and small-batch trials.
The Class A rating is a recognition of our past efforts, but more importantly, it reminds us to keep “lawful, standardized, and trustworthy” at the center of our daily operations.
In the end, a Class A rating is just a result. Behind it are the everyday tasks—labor contracts, wages, social insurance, working hours, labor protection—that may seem minor but must be done consistently. For XRD Graphite, treating employees fairly is both a responsibility to our team and a foundation for preserving machining expertise and maintaining product quality. Awards may fade, but systems and habits remain. That is what we value most.
